Does anyone have any experience working on the cleared jobs for miscrosoft or Amazon. I have a TS and was contacted by a recruiter for a SDE position. Any ideas on the kind of work and how the interview is? #engineering #software #amazon #microsoft #cleared # job
Ops monkeys at both. But I have heard from people that have worked at both that Microsoft treats the cleared engineers as equals and Amazon just tells them what ops work to go do.
We treat them as equals but it’s just due to the nature of job...

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
If you are talking about some jobs related to govCloud then it’s really bad and borin’. At AwS those engineers mostly execute scripts written by service teams who doesn’t have access due to clearance requirements. Debugging is also a challenge as often times they dont understand the code as it was written by other teams.
Yeah I believe it was related to the govCloud. Aww darn that doesn’t sound too exciting :/
