Cloud DevOps Role in EDA Domain
Hello I am new to the EDA domain and cleared few rounds for cloud devops role in EDA domain. my experience so far has been supporting apps on cloud mostly(SaaS, PaaS).. along with sre/dataops/mlops/devops roles while speaking to the interviewers they mentioned that most of their systems are legacy system which they would like to move to cloud.. and SDLC is pretty old... I would like to know how cloud is used in EDA domain and how valuable the cloud experience would be considering its importance/maturity in other industries like gaming, banking..etc? The basic idea is to break down designs into chunks of data and process these chunks separately, and then consolidate results (map-reduce), this computation model can be scaled well on cloud. This would be very helpful, considering advanced SoCs are now having billions of transistors.
