Solid background in Tech support (5yoe) + Linux + Cloud (more azure than aws). No coding background. Try to get into sre/ devops if swe is long shot to prepare ..
I have a few tools I know but not sure I can be great because of lack of coding background. I know python but not very proficient... any suggestions? Please can we connect for advice? π
Yeah python beginner and intermediate is good start from coding perspective. Also get good at bash / scripting automations in your support job .. build automation skills / tools like Jenkins docker kubernetes to build resume skills for devops / sre..
