Cloudflare final round
I cleared all the interviews and I am to the final interview with co-founder or some C Level, what should I expect? I am still negotiating salary which the recruiter told was 212k ( 170k base + 170k stock over 4yrs) for Austin location Any input is greatly appreciated. How much more I can ask for tc? Current 197k, yoe 9+ in Virginia #cloudflare
How’s the interview like for Cloudflare?
Hi everyone, I'm from Europe, and received recently an offer to join cloudflare, as I'm kind new on this matters, I'm kind confused about the offer they gave me. Salary + stock Example, after the 1st year I will receive an amount of shares, that means that I can immediately sell them? Cause at the moment cloudflare shares are evaluated in 60$ for share, if I sell them it will represent a good money, Is that correct?
You can't sell them immediately, they vest yearly. For example if you get 4000 rsu, you get 1000 stocks yearly and after year 1 you can sell, but you have to pay tax and capital gain tax
Okey, that seems a lot of money in tax, I will consider half will go to the government 😅 but still for my reality it seems a pretty good money, Is not usual.

The CEO call is easy, just be yourself, expect to talk thru your resume if it’s the CEO, and just show your passion,
The only way for them to withdraw the recruitment offer is if you say some really dumb shit on the call, but at this stage they already hired you they just haven’t told you yet
Are you still there as an engineer? How difficult are the coding rounds?
