Interview for Credit Suisse, Senior SWE role. Was asked to solve a game he built himself, basically a javascript page with 3 numbers to guess, with each guess taking 5 sec. for the server to respond. My solution was to write a http caller to call the backend service in parallel for each of the 1k combinations. Was allowed to use google so I just copied some implementation from stack overflow... What does this "test" even tell about me? Which signal does the interviewer expect here? YOE: 8 TC: 170k
To see if you can build real stuff? Especially for senior I think it makes more sense to do this format than algo coding. Sad thing is 60 min is too short to build anything meaningful so you need to pick the problem carefully.
My guess is that the interviewer wanted to see how you solve a real world problem as opposed to a standard Leetcode one. Looks like you did very well.
Must have a deadline to meet.

People who like Modi, are you okay with your country’s leader using words like “infiltrators” for a community?
Sounds like he just wanted some free consultation on his project
