Hello, I have an interview coming up for the position of Data Scientist in AI and Analytics practice at Cognizant. The job description is a bit vague and talks about using AI and modelling architecture for different projects (mostly about understanding business requirements and using statistics to create classifiers, creating roadmaps and leading and organizing everything). The interview is going to be just one round consisting of a panel. I am not sure how to prepare for this. Should I prepare for live coding or will the interview be mostly about my past projects and a technical deepdive into that? I have had just an introductory call with HR so far and she mentioned that this will be the last and only round. The round will consist of a single person (even though its a panel interview) and will be an hour long interview. As I have very less time to prepare I believe if I can atleast focus on one area (live coding or case studies) it will help me to prepare well. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated. If anyone has gone through such a round or if anyone knows the general interview pattern at Cognizant, please let me know. Thanks in advance. #Cognizant #datascience #aia #ai #dataanalyst #data #machinelearning #machinelearningengineer
The interview will be about your last project. There will be questions about the approach methodologies etc. If there are strategies in the JD it may be a Senior Manager plus role. Check the seniority with HR. DM if you need further help
Considering it will be a billing role, your ML concepts should be thorough. Ability to quickly understand the requirements, validate and propose solutions/approaches will help you get through. Again one round may not always be one round depending on how the interview goes, sometime a client also interviews but its always horses for course approach

Thank you AAPL and NVDA
Going by your description it looks like the interview will mostly cover the breadth of techniques you will typically encounter in a ML course and a detailed discussion around a project of yours. You might get better answers on fishbowl app.
