I was onboarded to a project last month, but soon after joining the project they asked me to come onsite to which I refused and told them that at the time of offer they said it’s a virtual role. So they released me within a week of onboarding and now I am told that I have 35 days to find a new project. #software #cognizant
Find a project that needs a Human Capital or training resource.
TC?
What is TC?
Ctc
Why would you do that?
I had commitments to drop/pick my kids and can’t travel 40 miles everyday, especially when we agreed it’s virtual at first.
@cognizant, I respect you for dropping off and picking up your kids. Not enough people value those actions. I hope you're able to find a new project or an even better role soon! I wish you the best
Not sure why there are so many of these posts. WFH is basically done at this point. you also have an at will employment. Feel free to find a new virtual job that suits your needs.
What’s your BU and YOE and designation ? We have few requirements
They have given the role of software developer I
I am Backend Developer Python
Which location is this ?
I am looking for remote roles as Backend Developer, but based out in Dallas, Texas
Gotcha. In canada there is a mandate of 1 day to work from office for closed work permit holders.
Try to get on to R2 Engineering. A lot of our projects are internal
How long have you been working at cognizant? The 35 days thing doesn’t apply if it’s been less than a year. I was unassigned for two or three months after my one year mark and didn’t have a problem.
Yes, less than a year :)
If my skills and certificates are up to date but they couldn't find any cloud security projects for me, I cloud really get fired after 35 days ?
If you didn't get a project in 35 days. Will they fire you?
Lmao u showed em
