Way too many web3 options. Way too many items on the home page of the app (needs to be cleaner.) Excessive security (2FA+email) and even then it sometimes won’t work and won’t even throw an error The app takes way too long to start up (even on a 14 pro max.) Constantly asking me if I want to use their web3 wallet on startup, even after clicking the “skip for now” button numerous times. The navigation buttons at the bottom of the app are unresponsive and I have to click multiple times to get them to work. And when they load, there’s way too much information on all the tabs. I’m a power user of Coinbase, and I’m overwhelmed by the app. Imagine the experience of new signees on the app who are also new entrants to the crypto space. Brian Armstrong is phuking the company with numerous rounds of layoffs. They’re blaming the macro environment for a massive drop in Coinbase revenue, while the real reason behind the drop is the horrible user experience. And btw phuk Emily Choi too
Thank you for the appreciation!
Seriously, you should send this post up the chain to Armstrong and Choi. So they realize how much they’ve phuked their customer
Armstrong is focused on comparing satellite images of North and South Korea night lighting to keep track of his “economic freedom” mission. Choi is busy improving her skiing skills⛷️. They don’t have time solve any of these useless customer issues.
half of this is just bad opinion
Bad opinion from a *customer* who’s a power user of the app your employer makes
hi, working on improving password/email thing, u will see new way for auth soon!
and thank you for using us!
Web3 wallet on startup? Never heard of that. Op - Can you share a screenshot pls. Thx
It’s built in React Native, of course it sucks. Build it property using native frameworks or accept its going to feel second rate
Companies use React Native to save on developer costs. Such cheapness leads to horrible customer experience, which in turn lowers revenue. Non-technical executives like Armstrong and Choi phuk entire companies and their customers along with it
discord is built on react native but its not as bad
