I recently went on a date with guy from Google. Things seemed to be going pretty good till the topic of our colleges came up. I went to pretty average colleges starting from junior college, undergrad and masters. He went to some good ones. Not ivy league standards but good. I could see instant change in his behavior. I was taken aback. I think I had a similar experience with a guy from Netflix( not very sure about this one. He was pretty hard to read) So what’s the deal? I can understand career being a factor but colleges too?? Tc: 280
He didn’t go to Ivy League or Stanford. Not sure why he behave like that.I would say he is not matured to accept normal colleges are okay too as soon as you have growth mindset.
yeah, it triggers people who identify themselves with their resume. hard to not find such people in tech
Do you really want to be with someone who identifies themselves with a piece of paper from a university or their job (unless they are an executive or a founder) ? Guys like that are lame, boring and likely not very good in bed… but if you are looking for a Beta Male provider those types are perfect and just divorce them once you’re done with them
Do you need more red flags?
I don’t know why people judge based on the education background or anything. What matters is the present. Evaluation should be done based on what the person is at present. It is for sure a red flag 🚩
Red flag...stay away from such people. They are looking down upon for your college, then they will look down upon you for say family financial background...and list will go on. It's just their way to dominate you...and if you stay long with such people even before you realize you would lose your self confidence...they will make you feel you are shit in each and every time.

How old is he? 22?
Both of us 28!
I’m a girl and one time a girl denied from becoming my roommate because I’m from an average college. You are talking about dates here lol
You take away the prize for sure!

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Dumb might be too strong a word. My college does hit the top 50 in US. But irrespective of that, why does is matter?
It doesn't matter for most people. The guys you met were dumb.
