Commuting to Facebook campus
I’m going to start a job at Facebook MPK, and planning to rent a place in Redwood City. I’m trying to figure out the commute. I dont have a car (and i cant even drive), so I was looking at shuttle bus options. It looks like there are only a couple of stops: does it mean i would have to live somewhere close to them? Please help me figure out...
Can you live close to Caltrain and get a shuttle from caltrain to the office?

They sent me the schedule (not the map though) but I see there are only a few stops - that’s why I’m asking ..

I’ve been told Redwood City is the best to live in when you work at FB... Would you say Atherton is better?
Yeah, you can bike to commute. Also you can find 3-4 month temp accommodation easily in east Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. Move somewhere in longer terms once you get through DMV.
What about living in San Jose?
You're going to want to learn to drive regardless unless you live in the city.

If you are young live in SF will be much more fun and you won’t need a car.

Just live close to the Facebook office - apparently you get some bonus to do that.
