Recruiter reached out to me from Jump Trading, was wondering what compensation looks like for SWE with 2-3 years looks like. Numbers on levels vary quite a bit and some look quite a bit lower than what I would expect TC: ~268k #jumptrading #comp #quant
Very team-dependent
How to maximize for swe?
From what i gathered Jump's band is insanely wide. They'll just pay whatever you're worth to them. If you have competing offers for example your pay can easily double.
Jesus
Really?
Was interview much different to a google interview?
I have not done many, but two sigma was very similar to google (design, coding total of 3 and bunch of kinda team matches second part), rentec as well but with 11-12 interviews of problem solving a day. What is different in jump interview? (I wanna try some companies again in the near future) Also, mine were swe (not quant)
New grad is ~450k pre negotiation
This is TC if that isn’t clear
I’m guessing 2 years isn’t considered new grad leveling here. As I’m no longer new grad at my current company
