Edit: TC is actually 365k Base+Bonus is 244k Considering conversations with two sigma, and wondering what reasonable comp expectations should be for someone with my profile: SWE for 12 years, PM for 7yrs (last 5 years here @ Meta). Plus, for the past 3 years I've been systematic trading -- I develop models that I run live, but also build quant tools and libraries (reusable code) that I share on a popular platform for other retail quants. The PM roles at two sigma seem right up my alley -- I understand they build products for their internal quant modelers and engineers. I figure I understand the needs of both, so I'm in a good place to negotiate for something decent. But... what is "something decent" ? And how much of that would be cash vs equity? Thanks --- CashComp: 244k TC: 365k YoE ~20y #pm #product #twosigmacareers #twosigma #compensation #finance #quant #tradingtech
Ask the recruiter
Why do you sound like a portfolio manager with a product manager title ??
I don't think there's any chance of getting hired as a portfolio manager without any prior pro-level quant trading experience.

A bit Outdated
Both are >240
No such thing as equity at TS, it’s base cash + cash bonus
Thanks. Noted.
Depends on your level. Are you IC5?
Yes, IC5. Likely an IC6 by January though.
350 upwards seems realistic
Thanks

Wow. If op is 240 at 20yoe there's no hope for the rest of us
Haha. You'll be fine. For many of those years I paid myself as a startup founder. Not enough clearly. Hoping to get some insight re: my question though.
Just realized that I only put my base+bonus. Including my equity my TC is 365k
