Heard from a friend personally at Snap that Snap makes sure they match internal comp to external comp after 1 review cycle based on promotion and market rates. Any other companies that do this? Would be really nice to dedicate myself to a company long term and not have to make a switch to bump up my comp. I always just get promoted a level at my current companies, then make a horizontal or another level jump because it’s almost never worth it to stay. I want to actually feel like working hard and making a good product produces a practical worthwhile reward… TC: 370k YOE: 7

Snap does not do 1 year grants. The grant each year vests over one year 2 years later, ie this year's grant vests over 2024.
