I studied Masters from a US University and I'm working as a senior software engineer. I feel like I want to study more but don't want to fully sacrifice the convenience of a job. Do any of the top tier companies sponsor or allow you to pursue PhD or MBA while working for example any research based teams who look for such candidates?
Yahoo’s not a top tier company, but it will pay for $6k of studies per year. Won’t pay much of a top tier MBA (130k+ over 2 yes) ;)
Lots of companies have ways to do an MBA. Doesn’t Bloomberg? PhD is another story. That would take like 10 years if you could even find a professor willing to do it.

Part time MBA, maybe possible. But PhD? You are joking, right?
