I am looking to move from where I live and I wanted to move to JP. I have tried applying to Amazon And Woven company (Toyota) last year l, but got meta offer in Europe which I have accepted. With current layoffs (I have not been impacted) I have decided to revisit this plan, but rather as a half a year - a year long projects. Which companies hire people from Europe in Japan and use English at work. I know Google, Amazon and Toyota.
Indeed and smartnews
I have heard paypay also uses English at work . They do use Japanese as well . A few months back they were hiring aggressively, not sure about the scenario now
PayPay asks about previous salaries :( huge red flag
Indeed does but they seem to be on a hiring freeze now. Mercari some roles are English only but check the JD as some require you to speak Japanese. Pretty much all international major tech companies here use English so I think the language is not an issue unless you are in a non tech role.

I know someone did this in Meta. Their Unix name is cmd if you want to learn more about them. I don’t know if you get to use English at work though.
