I work for a start-up and was going to do my taxes back in early February, but I realized my company messed up my HSA contribution and I couldn't file. The crazy thing is they didn't just mess up my form, they messed up anyone's form who used an HSA and got a company contribution and didn't publicly flag that (no slack message, ect). This is rant, but also, I'm curious, is this a general theme in start-ups? This is my first one and it really feels like everyone is winging it. The way they handle finances are all over, and it makes me not want to own equity in the company. For reference, this isn't the first time they've made a mistake, just the most recent one.
