Got offer from DocuSign and UiPath, both are senior engineer positions in Seattle, UiPath's package is slightly (8%) higher, love both teams. From the news, both companies will have upcoming layoffs. Both stocks drop like sh*t in past few years. Both growth seems slowing down. Any suggestion how to choose between them? Thanks.
I would wait for layoff than join UI path 🫡
I'd go uipath. DocuSign is meh according to colleagues.
UIPath is extremely toxic though. Docusign is more relaxed and can coast there
So I get it that ‘toxic’ means that you have to actually do your job?
There are upcoming layoffs? 🧐🧐
According to https://www.marketwatch.com/story/uipath-stock-rockets-after-company-announces-further-layoffs-suggests-revenue-could-beat-2022-11-15, there will be elimination of 6% of jobs across the company's workforce of about 4,025 employees (as of Oct. 31). I assume this is not yet happening, and will happen soon. Is it true?
It already happened, per article. It didn’t affect much of p&e, fyi. Also, the leadership has been very positive about the future lately. IMO, I can’t see future layoffs happening since they gave us 100% on our annual bonuses recently.
What’s the offer ?
Ds can be chill, but they're cutting benefits and perks. Also upper management is full of shit most of the time. But that's nothing new.
I am at DocuSign and it is not chill. What’s your department? 👀
What are your offers?
what's your offer OP?
Could you break down your UiPath offer?
