Compensation L6 Senior Product Manager at Amazon

Just got an offer to work at Amazon as an L6 Senior Product Manager, what is the average pay in the company on this level? Trying to see if I should negotiate for a better pay

Glassdoor is accurate for average salary

That's pretty low for L6

Heard Oracle is throwing money at people.

That's Amazon for you. They work you hard and are tight on pay. Expect to get backend loaded RSUs. No other organization squeezes blood from their employees as hard as Amazon

L6 PM is not compensated the same as L6 Dev. It correpsonds to L5 dev

Microsoft KnxY00 Sep 14, 2017

Does the same apply to L7 PM (L6 Dem equivalent)?

Lyft aco Sep 14, 2017

Yes. The leveling just begins lower, numerically, for Dev than PM at Amazon. They grow mostly equally.

It totally depends whether you are PM or PM-T. PM-T is a lot higher than PM. And PM-T at AWS is a bit higher than other orgs.

Amazon SPM is same as PM everywhere else.
