I'm interviewing for Uber Freight in Chicago for Sr. Program Manager role (non-tech). I always thought Uber paid top dollar in the industry. Talked with the recruiter and here are the numbers: Level: L4 TC: ~$140K Base: ($105k-$120k) Bonus: $11k Equity: $8k-$10k What should I do? Current TC: $95K YOE: 7 years #uber #programmanager
New grads are getting higher base than your tc at hfts and HFs in Chicago
That's why I'm trying to move soon lol
Those are engineers though…
I would negotiate that equity, I got 50K when I joined. BUT that was when the company was new and profit was not a goal.
Was it 50k for 4 years or for first year?
50k 4 years but got 50k each year, and I was working in account management.
They fucked me after a great interview for the same position and never responded lol. But that’s around the range they told me. Kind of disappointing.
It caught me off guard as well
