For Software engineer and SSE roles, they were taking an entrance exam before the interviews. I wanted to know what your interview process look like?
For senior staff base seems a bit low. Probably, 70-80 lakhs of base makes more sense. Anyways do negotiate and try increasing by at least 15%

I doubt it. Senior staff at Samsung is not the same as Faang. It's just a senior engineer.

I think the offer is very good by Samsung standards . Probably LTIP you can, but the HR will normalize the salary based on teams standings in subsequent years. The performance bonus is not guaranteed for all ratings. It should be for the top most rating. But hikes are decent in Samsung, travel to Korea and no layoff that is the benefit. High tc comes with baggage of layoff risks everywhere. But above all adjusting to Korean culture is the most difficult thing for someone joining from American or European companies.
