Instacart goes IPO. Those Instacarters are getting liquidity and became insta-rich. I am so jealous.
lol
Instacart employees are not as happy as those outside the company, because they are aware of how diluted their stocks are, due to dramatic valuation changes and investment rounds…
How much money does an L5 senior make on ipo price?
🥜
330k total comp
+1, how much an ic5 making at Instacart?
390k
Is this a sarcastic joke?
You are envious not jealous.
What's the difference?
Whole three letters different
Employees aren’t getting shit lol at that valuation. They raised so much funding at terrible terms the VCs will get everything
Valuation was cut so many times. Employees are under water mostly. Lock up period will further make their bag heavy when investors exit and fat cats (leadership) sell
Kind of odd a simple delivery app fetch that valuation. I'm jealous of course. Maybe I don't understand consumer demand behavior as well as I thought.
I don't get it either. There are lots of apps doing the same thing. Uber and doordash does groceries too
We are not a delivery app, lol. Large names like Costco, Kroger, etc use IC backend and white label websites. You just don't see it because it is customized and themed to their branding. There is a reason why we have 30 billion in revenues, over 450K in profits this year, and last 5 quarters of profitability. 18 of the top 20 retailers uses us.
Not when you get RSUs are worth 1/3 of what they used to.
