What do you think is the best pace for doing LeetCode? Is there a point in consistently doing problems, or would you forget patterns that could be memorized if you grind LeetCode hard just before interviews? #engineering #software #swe
Leetcode will be obsolete soon. Companies are moving away from asking leetcode style questions. I can already name a couple of top paying companies that don’t ask LC: Doordash Square Airbnb Lyft Etc. And then there’s a million other companies that don’t ask LC: https://github.com/poteto/hiring-without-whiteboards
What do they ask instead? System design? Coding but not DS/algos? Brain teasers? Take home?
what do they ask? read through the list, 90% of those are ZIRP trash my dude, theyll be dead in 3 years tops if fed doesnt drop rates
I think consistent leetcode without burning yourself out is the way to go. I manage a free newsletter in which I share important fully solved Leetcode coding problems twice a week. Best way to stay in interview shape (whether you are actively preparing or just want to stay sharp). If that interests you, consider subscribing to https://codinginterviewdigest.substack.com/. Again, it’s totally free to subscribe, hope it helps :) Existing posts - https://codinginterviewdigest.substack.com/archive

Just got scheduled for a surprise 1:1 with my skip today
1. List down all the DS and Algos. 2. Read/watch videos on each DS/algo 3. Do 2 problems per DS/algo. [Note: 2. and 3. shoild go parallely] 4. Know the time within which you will read the solution when you can't self solve a Q. 5. Redo the Qs again and again. Each time, you should discover new info. 6. Do mocks. Improve time, confidence etc per mock.
