Confirmed: Musk had an affair with Sergey's Brin Wife
I am currently working in consulting and looking to transition out. I applied to the Facebook RPM program since they accept finance and consulting candidates, but the whole online application feels like I threw my resume down a black hole. The company I work for does not have a brand in tech, but is well known in the economic consulting industry. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it through this recruiting cycle, and the only person I know at Facebook worked in a non-product team and left earlier this year, but is anyone able to take a look at my resume for some critique or give some advice for non-tech background people to break into Facebook or RPM/APM type of roles? Should I focus on getting into the industry first and then lateral if I still want to do products? I’m not sure if this will help but I’m trying learn some iOS development as a side project to generate a portfolio of tangible product experience as my FT job is not involved with launching products, but it’s still a work in progress.
That sounds close to impossible. Maybe if you would be in top consulting company before. You need to get to the industry first. Either product at at smaller tech or any position you can get at fang (but will be hard).
