Im a contract to hire and my time to switch to FT is coming up soon. Im getting underpaid, 10-20k annually less than the avg swe in my area according to google and other websites. Should i expect a pay increase ? If so, generally by how much. I assume other offers can bring it up even more but what else can i bring to the table TC 45k
And yes off course, you should get a hike if they hire you full time. If they don’t, ask for it.
Sorry, would rather not say what area. But thanks!
Contingent worker conversions are often a cost savings measure. Ideally, you'll want to find out what you are being billed at (which is likely more than your TC), then to negotiate most/all of that delta into your offer.
Thanks! What do you mean what I’m being billed at? Like how much I’m getting every paycheck right now?
