Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
I’m working in a fresh big data startup that’s still in round A. Has great ideas and all. Paying me good amount of stocks. I also got an offer from Cisco with no rsus. I’m somehow attracted to Cisco because of the benefits and all processes in line. Plus my resume would look good (I don’t know if that matters). And flexibility to learn. Some tell me I’ll get lost in Cisco plus yearly hikes would be less. If I stay here I can get a good hike every year. I feel if I want to interview in Google, I need to have such a company on resume. Plus I might never get an offer from Cisco again. I don’t have a big company on my resume yet. Convince me to reject Cisco. Current tc: 16lpa (waiting for appraisal) Cisco offered tc: 23lpa Yoe: 7 #cisco #startup
What do you mean? 🤔
😑
He means that it would have been right 20 yrs ago.. Not now
Give it a try, the water is fine
it’s a hire and fire company
It's like Crocs. No matter how much you abuse it, it sustains
You are never gonna go wrong with having Cisco on your resume. Surviving a company like that where it is easy to just be a number will show great tenacity and willpower. Who knows you might love it!!!!
Yes having Cisco on your resume would be a stepping stone. Just a stepping stone !
Cisco is a stepping stone for you , get the brand name on your resume. Then try to go up the order in company tier list.
Super low TC man. There are lots of companies in India which offer much higher TC for your YoE. In your place, I'd aim for 70 LPA TC.
Would you mind sharing your interview experience. How many rounds were there and what type of questions were asked ?
Check your calendar, it's 2021 not 2000!
Same with google lol you guys are basically underway too
