No cool off as far you failed phone screen . I posted the same question and mostly got the reply I posted above

It depends man. Usually at a PS you are recycled but you need to find the right role. If you really sucked at the PS then they'll probably make you wait a year or so. Another factor is the type of roles you are interviewing for.

So the gist of it is it’s no problem to interview for another role even if you failed the PS for the earlier role, thanks guys

Not what I said. They'll review feedback and may not want to move forward with an interview. There are a bunch of different variables. Were you down leveled? Are you not bar raising? Did you raise a red flag during your interview? Did the interviewer suggest a different role? Are you missing a key language? Bunch of things to consider but good luck man.

I failed aws Amcat online challenge 2months back.(there were 2 questions. I did 1 problem correctly then clicked on submit without realizing that I'm submitting the complete test and won't be able to do the other problem.) Now audible recruiter said you have to wait for 6 months. Do I really have to wait for all amazon teams for 6 months?

Keep looking. AWS screen will be harder.
