Just to give you a good insight about my background, I been in staffing / recruitment for 15+ years and worked on many industries such as Semiconductor, oil & Gas, defense , e-commerce and held my own staffing practice for 4 years. I worked in huge enterprises such as : Chevron, Global foundries, Google and Amazon. I was also hired as a Talent Acquisition Manager for a small defense company. My contract is ending at Amazon and I’m looking for the right company to join. I had many calls and actively interviewing.., However, I don’t know the right compensatory to ask? What is the difference between principles and senior??
Nothing at most places. Only really a difference at FAANGs. Outside of FAANG title inflation means principal and senior are interchangeable.
With that much experience I'd say 200k should probably be your minimum target comp
200K for sure
A buddy of mine just left chevrons HR MBA program (<10 yoe) to go to a faang. He's getting >200TC so I imagine you should aim higher

How was your Amazon experience as a contractor? Sr tech recruiter should be around 200 these days plus or minus
