I’m in a hedge fund, so 10 hour days in the office a mandatory. I just don’t get it. I would be able to get more work done in 6-8 hours if remote and able to work more on my own schedule. Maybe that’s just me. I get burnt out easier, less motivation to work, and just lose interest since I’m there all day. If I could work only 8 hours I’d be able to hit the job hard and be much more interested in this shit Am I just lazy/bad at my job or are yall with me?
What's the science? We can only focus and get "actual work" done in 2-4 hours a day?
I’ve heard various things but for me personally after 5-6 hours of actual work I find my self slowing down a ton
Who told you it’s mandatory? Put normal hours and see what happens
My boss, my bosses boss, the recruiter, everyone on my team, everyone who works here. Everyone does 7-5 here
Jeez, the place is fcked 🤡
