Some jobs ask for a github account. What can I put on it to make it interesting?
Finish some small projects, write clean and well organized code, make sure things are easy to just download and run (yes, docker here) and put in some sort of documentation. Nobody's gonna take a careful look into it, its usefulness is mostly to show you can write elegant code and know the good practices to keep a codebase.

Write a query engine, a compiler, an autograd engine, idk. Or actually, don’t. They will tell you you are overqualified.
Create a private repo, look up script that creates several commits everyday going back years. That way when they look at your profile they see a bunch of green squares. That’s all the recruiter is going to understand anyway.
I think the minimum nowadays is blockchain distributed AI that is performant, at scale, in microservice architecture with 99.99999 SLA, all written in bash
