UBS just offered to acquire Credit Suisse, $CS, for $1 billion. This means that $CS shareholders would be paid $0.27 per share. An 87% DISCOUNT to the $2.01 closing price on Friday. This is either the biggest lowball offer of all time or Credit Suisse is in serious trouble. Whats going to happen to the markets? 🍿
Could you please give a summary of what's Credit Suisse and what's happening to it and how it's related to SVB?

CS is going to 0 this week. Its either UBS or nationalization and with the later equity is going to get wiped out anyway (and debt is also likely to be affected).
And bag holders said this time it’s different
