Anybody got any good ones? I’ve had a few ... 1. Sales dude got fired so he sent a team wide email from his home email to probably 6-7k people. Our email admins never turned off that Outlook capability to prevent outsiders from blasting distribution groups. 2. Some real idiot sales people waxing nostalgia on their way out with inside jokes. I’ve forwarded a few of them to my personal email 3. Of course I’ve been hit with accidental group-wide email bombs where all the old folks are asking to unsubscribe. You? #culture #officelife #workplace
Here is the body For all of you who are young, intelligent, motivated, and have a great value structure, I would urge you to leave this firm now. Most of the best talent has already left. Take my advice, as most of you have grown to respect me over the years. Sent from my iPad
If most of the great talent has already left, then why is he wasting his time addressing this useless (albeit employed) bunch?
"Sent from my iPad" is so profound
You heard about the #happybirthdayholly email that was sent to every person in Wells Fargo?
What's that lol
There was an employee called Holly who had a birthday, and somebody sent a Happy Birthday email and sent it to every employee. So the next couple of hours were hundreds of emails that were either birthday wishes, or telling everyone to stop replying all. It looks like they find it more funny than annoying, as they have Happy Birthday Holly merch and it's own hashtag. I think it was even in the news!
I can’t go into the details, but I got a wfh email with the message body that said: Still bleeding.
Must’ve bought some $GME
Boomers sending memes in emails is always the worst
We get emails multiple times a week for every sale we make :) not spam :)
That actually sounds healthy.
My employee was sending a direct email to her her coworker about how stupid my plan was for the project... well, she thought it was only to her coworker but she actually replied all on the email including me, the “stupid boss”.
Haha!! What’s happened then? I am sure it must have been funny as shit!
I quickly got a “I’m so sorry” email. But I lightheartedly made fun of her for the next few months “Stella, where does this fall on the stupid meter?” Ironically, our relationship got better after that frank assessment of me 😊
At a start-up back in the dot com days, a colleague accidentally sent a company wide email suggesting a donkey punch for a senior staff member.
Not an email but during an all hands, a VP talked about the division in our nation and how everyone should be able to bring their authentic selfs to work everyday. We embrace everyone. So today I've invited some colleagues to share their perspectives. First we'll hear from the conservative view point and then we'll hear from the African american viewpoint. I just about fell out of my chair.
Had a woman who put a subway sandwich in the fridge and had it stolen. She sent company wide email to our division of General Dynamics saying that "someone stole her tuna sub with pickles and she would like it returned" Her employee accidentally replied all with "i didn't take your sub, but you can have my pickle any day" He then promptly sent a company wide apology email 🤣

What did the guy from 1 say? For me it’s mainly been relentless reply all threads although before my time I did hear some guy basically gave a middle finger via email before leaving
