Cruise automation

How’s Cruise Automation these days? Got pinged by recruiter for the Seattle office. What’s the compensation like for equivalent FB E5/ Goog L5 level? Worth interviewing or just stick with FANG?

including paper money?

Uber dfgr Feb 7, 2019

yes

I was pinged too. Commute from South Bay will be an issue. How does WFH fit in the culture.

As a rule wfh isn't a thing. Some teams have some fully remote members but it's more of an exception. Also some teams allow occasional wfh depending on what tech your team needs (desktop etc) and team policy.

Ditto above. In general there is no WFH.

Challenging technical problems, good culture. Seattle office should be great once things get up and running. Comp at e5 will be competitive, as long as you are up front about your comp expectations with the recruiter.

By e5 do you mean senior? Does Cruise also use the 3/4/5 level notion?

Microsoft xaml Feb 7, 2019

So cruise senior approximately = Facebook’s E5?
