Cruise mass layoff?
It has been a while since the shitshow began. But it actually happened today? Is engineer heavily impacted? What’s the percentage of different roles? Are any xoogler (including waymo) laid off?

Don’t know of any ex-Waymo laid off. Seems like they are trying to keep us onboard for now. But it’s hard to imagine many staying around unless the updated comp plan in Q1 is very strong. As is, our granted equity is worthless and the WLB / culture is 1000x worse than at Waymo.

I'm a xoogler, but laid off earlier this summer. Engineering was impacted, but mostly business roles
