Interviewing with cruise next week for staff swe position, wanted to gather few data points 1. how is the wlb? 2. Is $29 per share GM buyback still valid in next few years? 3. What do you like about the company? 4. What would you caution someone who’s thinking of potentially joining? 5. How are the refreshers? TC:0 #cruise #cruiseautomation

If you have close relationships with senior management, then join
I see quite a few cases like that at cruise
If you are part of a gang then join ( Google gang, Mathwork gang, ...)
YoE?
I have nothing useful to say besides their offers are pretty strong from my experience, especially if you have competing offers
How are the shares valued at the grant time? How many pennies on the dollar would you get if you were to sell stock to GM?
This is definitely second hand, but everything I've heard about Cruise from folks there is that it's a chaotic mess. And they seem to not be making significant progress on the tech.
Depends on team. Progress on tech is significant according to me. They're doing things no one else has been able to
I mean, they’re running driverless in a couple of cities now. That looks like progress to me.
