I'm trying to pivot from being a programmer analyst to a data engineer role and I want to set a goal of getting into big tech as a DE. The current ecosystem of data orchestration and pipeline tools, platforms, cloud services and big data abstraction tools is just mind boggling. My question is, how should I prep for DE interviews in big Tech? Should I only polish my sql, python leetcode and some data modelling or should I also study and invest significant time in learning services like Snowflake, airflow, cloud services etc? Is the DE interview process in Big Tech standardized like SDE loop? Any tips and pointers are very much appreciated. Thanks! TC:🥜 Loc: LCOL US #dataengineerinterview #Dataengineering #data
Following. From what I gather it’s only Python SQL and data modeling as well, but feels lacking
