Freshworks IPO
I've been following FreshWorks from 2012. Couple of my colleagues joined Freshworks in that time frame. And both of them eventually left. As far as I know, they said its too much hype and it may not do well over time. Bigbang Freshworks IPO has been the talk of the town. 10 billion for a copy cat is unbelievable. Question to Freshworks folks, are you fairly compensated? Did you really make a million? Any idea how much the founders and top management made in the IPO. I know this varies case to case basis. My understanding is top management has the lion share of the equity and even very senior folks in the company are given peanuts. That's one of the reason I did not signup when I got the offer from Freshdesk in 2015. Based on what I was offered, I wouldn't have made a million with current valuation and I don't regret my decision. #Freshworks

Same case for me I was offered 10 LPA in 2015 Chennai location. And now I think I might have missed this opportunity.
@K4Q seems like missed the bus and getting jealous 🤣 In 2015 if you had 4 L RSU that time valuation was around 5$ now its value 45 $ for each Class A share. Plus more RSU as refreshers you would have got in this 6 years Just read S1 filing to know how many shares executive and owner have .
Any idea how much was Freshworks valued at Pre-IPO?
Last Major funding was in Dec 2019 with valuation of $3.5 b
You would have made a million with the stocks you would have got in the subsequent appraisals. I do think you missed the bus 😅
