I'm currently a data engineer, though there's a posting at my company for a full stack developer position that I think I'd be able to get if I submitted an application. TC is the same so not a factor. YOE: 2.5 I'm wondering which is better for my career/going to be in higher demand in the future. My degrees are in Philosophy and Political Science so I really don't understand the various roles in the tech industry as well as I'd like to. I just know that I like to code and solving problems can be more rewarding than pointing them out (as Philosophy taught me to do).
