Got rejected after onsite at meta recently. Thought my performance was worthy of getting an offer. Wondering if the bar now is to clear all 4 sections with flying colors for acceptance? Lack of feedback has left me a bit frustrated as I try to approach this with a growth mindset on how i can improve. Anyone else have interviewed recently?
If you’re not perfect it’s a rejection in this market
Makes sense
Agreed. I had all the rounds done very well then on one round I got a little hiccup 40 minutes into the interview and instead of solving 5 sqls as a part of data modelling I solved 4. They offered to re-run this round but I had to pass it with flying colors to get an offer. Dunno if that's the current market or just proves the hiring bar is high. Both makes sense to me
Im sorry to hear that OP. Can you share your experience? Im on the job hunt myself and applying to similar roles.
Pretty standard checkout the medium articles related to the interview process

@op what questions were asked ?
Hey OP could I dm you to chat about your experience? I got rejected last year I believe due to the stats round but hard to say for sure
My interviewer showed up late, didn't introduce herself, and hadn't prepared all her interview questions. Meta really needs more interview training... especially for quant phds.
Dang sorry to hear that did you get offer?
I had the same experience. Got to the questions straightaway
I am sorry to hear this. I have been applying through referral and still getting reject.
Yeah same here, where did you think you went wrong?
I guess resume doesn’t have the key words ?
Could you please share the experience of your loop and type of interviews with difficulty level?
Can I DM you for more info? I am out of a job and desperate to crack this interview!
It's a numbers game. Keep at it.
