Data Scientist - Where to next?
What company has the best pay and work life balance combo to jump to next for data science? I’m looking for senior data scientist or analytics manager roles. Location: Bay Area Main motivator: $$$ and better culture. I realized I’m getting severely underpaid while working long hours with some toxic ppl. I also haven’t learned much in the 3 years I’ve been here. Data🐒 TC: 300K. TIA

Unless you're ready for staff you're not going to find many >$300k senior DS roles anywhere in this market, not even considering WLB.
Airbnb, Uber have good of both. Meta has great DS but culture is hit or miss depending on team. Consider also looking for quant jobs (if more DS focused) or BI (if more analytics) in banks and hedge funds, interesting problems and good pay
How’s stripe for DS?
Most, not all, Quant jobs are just quickly fitting linear regression models maybe with some penalty and then making fast decisions. But, the depth and complexity of your projects/work will depend on your team tbf
