I'm a new grad and a data scientist at a FAANG company reached out to me about a data engineering role saying they want to discuss the "design and implementation of big data processing" what does this mean? How should I prepare? I just graduated college and I know nothing about big data. I know SQL, python, pandas, etc. Only found out what spark is after researching today.
Spark Dataframes are very similar to Pandas dataframes so just think of it from that perspective but just heavily distributed so you can process more data faster. Go through Python and SQL LC medium level and system design prep, and hope for the best lol
Lol thx. Yeah tbh I don't know why they are interviewing me, I mean from my resume they know I have zero DE experience and I'm just a new grad
🤣
appreciate it!
