Datadog vs Adobe Internship
Hi! I have an offer for a Datadog internship ( SWE ) in Paris and one for Adobe internship (Python Dev) in Romania. The idea is that if I pick Datadog it s for 6 months and I ll have yo say goodbye to a masters degree this year. For Adobe, i can do it in parallel. What do you guys think is better: Datatog and try to kickstart my career in the West or take it easy with Adobe and masters. TC: None
Seconding Datadog. You won’t get any good eng cred from Adobe. You probably won’t even get to do anything impactful in your internship due to shitty documentation and a lot of red tape.
Given the masters maybe do Adobe knowing you are not aiming for a return. Masters + Adobe > just Datadog, but just Datadog >>> just Adobe
This is a no-brainer. Adobe Romania. It has a wide variety of projects and you finish your Masters. You can always choose to go to Datadog later if you don’t like the work in Adobe.
