Day1 CPT
My H1b did not get picked in 3rd attempt. Planning to move to a company which allows Day1 Cpt. Can you comment if your company allows?

Do you even have enough time to move companies? Most companies are reluctant to hire anyone who doesn't have at least a year left on their visa, let alone 4 months.

How much time on your STEM OPT do you have left? I've been trying to switch to a day-1-cpt-friendly company with little success for the last 6 months (although I've been picky and only tried to stick to positions in my current city). Lots of companies wouldn't consider you if you have less than a year of work authorization, I've never had such a high rejection rate at the recruiter stage. It's definitely worth exploring as an option, but if I were you, I'd also prepare a couple of backup plans.
