Dear Apple, Please Don’t

I’m seeing a lot of news articles suggesting Apple is in talks to license #Gemini. Please don’t. As a shareholder, I do not want to take that brand hit. Apple should not even consider associating with that ridiculously woke AI. If Apple can’t get #OpenAI, and can’t build their own, then just stay out of AI.

It's funny that so many people don't understand the difference between AI models and apps built on these AI models.

Maybe as a shareholder you should call for a vote

Limiting AI choices to integrate with is just a spectacularly dumb move for a company

How so? You don’t build phones with slow CPU’s and RAM because it’s an easy and affordable option. You’ll quickly ruin your brand and lose your customer base. I’d say NOT limiting your options is the single biggest mistake a company can commit.

Exactly my point just put in the positive. So we agree but perhaps we aren’t communicating clearly. I was responding to the suggestion that Apple should limit its choices of AI model to exclude Google (or any other companies AI). I agree they should NOT limit their choices/options.

If only wokeness generated any value whatsoever.

Anyone who unironically uses the word woke as a pejorative can generally be dismissed as a chronically-online hack.

I’m pretty sure the vast majority of Americans are hacks then.

lol, no. Most people don't talk like suburban 14 year old edge lords who regularly tell their mom that they hate her and when she calls them down for dinner because she is interrupting their favorite influencer on youtube.
