I'm an Ex-G SWE interested in positions at DeepMind in the US. Can any DeepMind employees tell me if the benefits differ any from Google (and if so, how)? When I was at G, we had good 401(k) matching (50% up to the max), donation matching, volunteer time, 25 days PTO for 5 year tenure, good medical package including fertility. I'd be curious to know if any of these are different, if RSUs are computed/treated differently, etc. I know some of the other Bets handle compensation differently, not sure if DeepMind is one of them. Also, if anyone is able to provide a referral, lmk :) I'm talking to a G recruiter for a return but they say DeepMind is a separate system.

Not a lot of Deepmind people on here, I guess
The DeepMind benefits are at least as good as the ones at Google. Where they differ, they are better. You are also getting Google RSUs.
I'm not sure about DeepMind specifically, but I know many of the other Alphabet ventures (eg Waymo) don't give Alphabet stock. Instead, they give Waymo-specific stock that aren't publicly tradeable.
Yeah a Waymo recruiter told me this once
Yeah, I heard this too about Waymo, and Verily, which is why I'm curious about Deepmind.
