Hey guys, I got a call up from Deepmind recruiter for research engineer position. I have a 2 hour tech interview coming up (based on probability + statistics + applied maths + calculus). How to best prepare for it ? Also can you guys chime in with your Deepmind experiences or any helpful comments/suggestions ? How much does it pay for L4 RE position ? PhD in ML + 2.75 years experience
Ignore this moron from Nvidia. He has nothing to add to your post and is wasting your time. Since you have a PhD in ML, I imagine your probability and stats should be really good. Maybe brush up with questions from hackerrank. If they are also asking coding questions, then that’s a whole different matter and you may have to practice leetcode.
Coding rounds after this 2 hour grill :)
Yah then you might have to practice at least easy level LC. Though maybe you should clarify with the recruiter the interview expectations, is it heavier on the math or on the coding
I recently got an offer from Deepmind and they mostly asked a lot of applied ML questions and concepts. I would say mine was 80% practical ML and 20% theorotical stats+ml+calculus.
Do you mind sharing examples of what practical ML questions are like? Happy to DM too
How was your offer?
Could you share what kind of practical ml questions were asked? And your offer details please?
Hi, can you share your interview details?
@I<3Zuck would be great if you can share resources for practical ML questions
TC and YOE for advice or GTFO
added my profile info. what is TC ?
@nvidia he’s a PhD student.... so how can he have TC... How did you get into Nvidia exactly?
