When FAANGs were hiring like crazy, where were they hiring from? From companies like Dell. Dell had crazy attrition last year and stopped hiring in summer for most teams. Ideally they don’t need to do layoffs but they probably will do some.
Too much attrition to have mass layoffs with hiring freeze. Some small ones will likely happen. Most people will be ok.
