Hey all - looking for advice and insights into what to expect for a Client Account Manager role at Deloitte (government services specifically). I’m a 5+ YOE Finance professional with some time in Commercial Banking looking to make a switch especially with business related to the public sector. Would love insight into what the role is like, work schedules, compensation, etc. Thanks
CAMs have decent WLB since they’re internal. It’s sales based so compensation ranges depend on size of account and sales volume. I’m not sure how easy the transition would be with your background. Our CAMs usually start in delivery, understand the business of their government client and can speak to the technology at least at a high-level. You’d have to really look for junior roles to break in
Also forgot to mention understanding federal procurement is a major thing. Which vehicles to leverage, etc.
That’s super helpful, thank you!
