Compensation is too wide of a band to explain. But partner structure is:
-Analyst
-Consultant
-Senior Consultant
-Manager
-Senior Manager
-Partner (buy into the firm) or Managing Director (employee of firm)
At the moment they are allowed into the partnership, the new partners/principals are offered to buy a number of initial units. These units are not given to them. Many of them finance their initial purchase.
Of course it pays off very quickly.
And every subsequent years they are allowed to buy in more units.
I’m not a partner but heard from many of them that it works more or less like what I described.
