Deloitte team matching
Is team matching a real thing at Deloitte? I have interviewed twice for Manager positions in last 3 months and have extremely positive feedback but the rectuiter says since h1b sponsorship can take anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks, they have to align me to a project which will likely start in 8 weeks but cannot align me to any projects starting now. Am I being ghosted or has anyone gone through a similar team matching process?
You're not being ghosted, but they probably have a deep bench, and don't really need new managers right now. If they get to a point where they need to hire managers 8 weeks ahead, then they'll probably reconnect with you. Try to keep the lead warm rather than let it lapse.

Does it take that long for H1B transfer? I thought 4 weeks max, no?
Their immigration team takes own sweet time. It could be faster but this is the expected timeframe.
