Democrats want to break up big tech companies. Is it going to be good or bad for tech workers? Will our compensation go up because of more competition? Who are the winners and losers if big tech companies we're broken up? https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/08/elizabeth-warren-pushes-to-break-up-companies-like-amazon-and-facebook.html
Imagine how much of a corporate shill you have to be to side with big tech and its executives who bathe in cash while watching you spend your weekends making it for them
Let’s all support retroactive government roll back of mergers. All the employees at Instagram who got Facebook stock, spent it on houses and drugs will now have to go back in time and retrieve that money. 🤦♂️
She's not a serious contender. And her "plan" defies logic. 🧐🔥🍿
Zero understanding of what drives innovation, entrepreneurship, and tech. Rather than break ups, let’s talk ways to give startups more resources and customers more agency and control.
Facebook gave us trump and measles, I’m fine with breaking them up. But yes she is a moron.
For those who voted 'bad'- so competition and disruption is good, unless it's MY FAANG company you're talking about? 😋
Microsoft is already a bunch of separate companies internally, so we're ready.
Democrats failed to break up big financial institutions. Now, they are targeting tech companies
Never really understood how FB is a monopoly since we have small market share in advertising. It’s just the sentiment people feel they don’t have a choice but it’s not true.
Competitive markets don’t support the profit margins that Facebook has. Facebook may not have a monopoly, but it has a duopoly with Google. If the companies were competing the profit margins would be in the single digits.
Fair. Do you know what market share google has?
Lol you all gonna vote for trump now? So smart at coding and still so slow at learning ... 🤦♀️
Is there a “Warren is a Moron” option?
I was about to say dumb b*tch but I guess that is too rude and harsh. So I second this, moron sounds more proper.
